What actually confuses people
The confusion mostly comes from the fact that both products are named around the same word, and xAI's own marketing for each often mentions the other in passing, "Grok, now in X" and "SuperGrok, xAI's most powerful plan" sound like they're describing tiers of one ladder. They're closer to two separate ladders that happen to share a component, and xAI has started linking the very top of one to the other, so check the current plan pages.
